Confidence is the Key (Creflo Dollar)

In spite of all your praying, confessing, believing and claiming, are you still failing to see the manifestation of God’s promises of healing, provision and deliverance in your daily life? If the answer is yes, you might be missing a key component to your faith: confidence.

When the Bible uses the word confidence, it means “assurance”or “complete and total persuasion.” It also closely parallels the meaning of “trust.” When you trust something, you have confidence in it. As a Believer, you must trust God and His Word. After all, He is not a liar: “Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19, AMP).

Faith comes by meditating on the Word. The more you meditate and practice what you learn, the more confident you will become. When you are full of confidence, you know that God’s Word is going to produce exactly what it says it will. Regardless of the circumstances, a confident person says, “I am fully persuaded that the Word will come to pass.” This was true for Abraham. Romans 4:21 says, “And [Abraham] being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.” When Abraham became fully persuaded that God would keep His promise to give him a child, Sarah conceived Isaac. Likewise, you will not see the miraculous manifestations of God’s promises in your life until you become fully persuaded.

Another area where many Christians lack confidence is in the ministry of the Holy Spirit. I believe this is largely due to the tremendous amount of confusion in the body of Christ concerning this subject. Many people think that the Holy Spirit is little more than an emotion or a feeling. But those are only outward expressions of His presence. The truth of the matter is the Holy Spirit is a realPerson with whom you must establish a realrelationship. Failure to do so prevents Him from carrying out His mission in your life.

The Holy Spirit is the most valuable asset in the life of a Believer. He is your invisible Partner Who has been sent to be your Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Counselor, Comforter and Standby. You must acknowledge His presence in your life by placing your trust and confidence in Him. Yet as in any relationship, you cannot build trust unless you spend time together. Therefore, purpose in your heart to spend time with Him in prayer, fellowship with Him in worship, and get to know Him by reading the Word. Ultimately, you will become fully persuaded that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you! As a result, the Holy Spirit will lead and guide you into all truth.

Facing Life’s Storms (Creflo Dollar)

Have you ever been so consumed with your problems and personal concerns that it seemed there was no immediate relief in sight?

For example, Sandra is a faithful member of her local church who has a loving relationship with her family and friends and is successful in almost everything she does. Recently, however, things have taken a negative turn financially, and because the pressures of the challenge seem so great, the usually positive and proactive Sandra is struggling with bouts of depression and stress. She has tried to involve friends to help her resolve her issues, only to find that few have the time or desire to listen to her problems.

While it may be hard to believe that a person can go from being a ‘got it all together Christian’ to feeling down in the dumps, it does happen. All of us have experienced this at some point in our walk with God; but instead of worrying or tracking down someone to join what could easily become a “pity party,” use the Source you know will never fail—God.

Everyone should understand the value of being prepared mentally and spiritually for attacks on our lives because they will come. In John 16:33, Jesus said, “…In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” God has equipped you to handle the storms of life by trusting in Jesus.
Similar to Job in the Bible, there are times when challenges hit us on all sides and we don’t always feel like responding with the Word of God; but rest assured that God’s Word is the solution to any problem. When you allow your responses and decisions to be founded on God’s Word, you open the door for God to come in and turn your situation around.

Job was a man who faced some terrible situations. His children were killed, his livestock were destroyed and he was struck with painful boils on his entire body. Job had lost everything and I’m sure he was tempted to completely give up and turn his back on God. Even his wife told him to just curse God and die because he was in such a pitiful state. But Job didn’t do that. While he did go through a time of complaining and questioning, he never gave up on God. As a result, God restored everything he lost.

When the storms of life hit you, what will you do? Will you become overwhelmed and lose heart in the midst of worrying, obsessing and attempting to fix every problem yourself? Or will you pass the trust test and employ His help by calling on Him first? There is no challenge too great for Him to handle. He can cause all things to work out for your good when you pray and seek Him. What you find difficult to do, God can perform sweatlessly.
In the midst of trusting God, know that He may not use your preferred method to solve your issues. God has numerous ways to get things done and He will change situations in order to fulfill His purposes and promises.

You must be willing to get out of God’s way in order for Him to work. That means refraining from worrying, complaining and trying to fix things in your own natural ability. When you worry, you hinder God’s promises from being able to work in your life. Instead, meditate on the Scriptures, seek understanding and believe in what the Word will do for you. Everything you need to survive the storms of life is in your Bible; so put it to use during the times you need it most.

Don’t forget that God is a prayer away. No, there is no quick fix for every obstacle you will face in life, but if you are a Believer, you have the very thing that will bring peace in times of trouble (John 14:27). Pray to God and He will answer. He promised to never leave or abandon you.

Develop a closer relationship with God by finding out more about Him and His promises.

Marianne Williamson – A Return to Love

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Marianne Williamson – A Return to Love

man… woman..

Man is the most elevated of creatures, Woman the most sublime of ideals.
God made for man a throne; for woman an altar.
The throne exalts, the altar sanctifies.
Man is the brain, Woman, the heart.
The brain creates light, the heart, Love. Light engenders, Love resurrects.
Because of reason Man is strong. Because of tears Woman is invincible.
Reason is convincing, tears, moving.
Man is capable of all heroism, Woman of all martyrdom.
Heroism ennobles, martyrdom sublimates.
Man has supremacy, Woman, preference.
Supremacy is strength, preference is the right.
Man is a genius, Woman, an angel.
Genius is immeasurable, the angel indefinable.
The aspiration of man is supreme glory,
The aspiration of woman is extreme virtue.
Glory creates all that is great; virtue, all that is divine.
Man is a code, Woman a gospel.
A code corrects; the gospel perfects.
Man thinks, Woman dreams.
To think is to have a worm in the brain,
to dream is to have a halo on the brow.
Man is an ocean, Woman a lake.
The ocean has the adorning pearl, the lake, dazzling poetry.
Man is the flying eagle, Woman, the singing nightingale.
To fly is to conquer space. To sing is to conquer the soul.
Man is a temple, Woman a shrine.
Before the temple we discover ourselves, before the shrine we kneel.
In short, man is found where earth finishes, woman where heaven begins.

Depth of Character by Jonathan Bagley

I believe that God makes good men and good women, its just that they don’t know how to be good men and women, of standards, virtue, and value. Close your eyes and imagine diving into a pool of water only to be surprised that it was just a puddle of water. That is the character inside that you may find in a person, just a puddle of water. Sure the water looks nice to just jump in, people put all kinds of fronts on, until you jump in and hurt yourself on their shallowness. Looks ain’t everything just like desert oasis when you dehydrated and near death (the fast life = dehydrated). Not all are so shallow so don’t take offense if you aren’t. Many of my friends who I met, work with, or known are all good people inside and out, as for the others – just uncharted waters. What is character? The quality of being. Quality. Quality is good for character. To me thats realness and depth, something you can just jump and swim in without having to worry whether you bump your head on the bottom. For character, just look at your hand. Look at your fingers and that thumb, bcoz I will use them all. 5 appendages 5 aspects. Your thumb will be your personal aspect, while your fingers will be your physical, mental, social, and spiritual aspects respectfully.

PHYSICAL. In regards to character, this is what you look like. The way you dress and your healthy well being. Whether you smoke or not, do drugs or not, sleep all day or stay up all night, work out or not, etc. It has nothing to do with how you were created to look but its about what you do to maintain your physical look. To look good you would have good hygiene. Taking showers and not having a smell. Wearing clothes that fit and being appropriate. Not being sick and knowing how to stay and eat healthy. Walking with good form. You can also think of it as a first appearance impression at a big job interview. Look about something, be of quality. Anything that affects your physical well being is associated here.

MENTAL. This is what goes on in your head, of or relating to the mind. Its a really big area. Much like the brains of you or the processing power. Whether you plan or not, make a choice or not, etc. Choice is what separates us from animals. Animals live on instincts and survival. You don’t have to if you understand your power of choice. You can choose to do anything. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. He/She who aims at nothing, gets it everytime. The sky is the limit. The only thing that limits you is yourself. If you think it therefor you are. What you allow is your standard. These examples are things that I have heard and revolve around mentally, wanting to make best of myself. Good things that build up mentality: reading and studying, meditating, and critical thinking. Just like a car has a lot of options you can choose from, you too can have a lot of options – but yours is free and unlimited. Like for example if someone were to bump into you by accident, would you bump back, get mad, say excuse you, start a fight, or whatever. Point is, what options do you have mentally to handle situations you may encounter. Here are some proverbs straight out the Bible that give some mental that I am getting at as well. Intelligent people want to learn, but stupid people are satisfied with ignorance. Hot tempers cause arguements, but patience brings peace. Sensible people always think before they act, but stupid people advertise their ignorance. Just some of these are examples of what goes on in your head. It all starts there whether passively or actively. Think before you take action. Without a mental side how would you process and live life, you would be no better than a puppet.

SOCIAL. Social in regards to character, to me, its how well you do in society or a group or relations. Knowing how to treat others. Knowing how to communicate, or relate. Are you antisocial or social, are you selfish or giving, are you abusive or loving to others. Do you smile or frown. Respect or disrespect. Another verse – treat others how you want to be treated. Mental also decides on what you do socially as a person. We are social beings as well as individuals. In relationships I like social to be loving to the partner or family, understanding, and communicating, and not abusive or indifferent. It should all be one accord, in harmony. The book of proverbs has good examples in regards to social interactions with others. I have a genuine like for people and lots of love with my interactions to others, it allows things to be smooth on my side to communicate. But the other person doesn’t have to be such as me, they can ignore me, judge me, disrespect me, or talk to me. Social is mostly communication and relation skills. Do you have good skills or bad?

SPIRITUAL. To me personally, without a spiritual aspect how would you relate to your own existence and know your purpose. Why are you really here and for what for? You think you picked this age to live in. Whatever religious enlightenment you may have are you attuned to it and is it something you believe in. Spiritual side isn’t concerned with material or physical things. Do you have a profound sense of belonging in your life? I use my spiritual side for meaning and guidance. It makes me a more sound person. It deepens my character or deepens my ocean a lot more than anything. Having faith, hope and love. Love being the greatest here as well. Wouldn’t you want to invest more into your spiritual aspect? Mentally you have that choice!

PERSONAL. Now about personal. I solely represented the personal aspect as a thumb. And here is my reason why. I have always heard the saying ‘it stuck out like a sore thumb’. So it fitted personal just right. Personal is your own UNIQUE self, since no two people are alike or made the same. You stick out in this world, like a sore thumb bcoz of who you are. And the thumb is just so much different than the rest of your fingers. There is only one thumb on your hand… and hopefully, if there is two.. lol, I might say you have split personality syndrome or something. Personal is your twist to your physical, mental, social, and spiritual. Its what you do, doing your own particular thing, publicly or privately. It also involves your special skills, talents, and attributes. Everyones personal side to me is unique, special, and interesting. Its why I love making new friends, maintaining friendships, and understanding the people I meet or have known. I have my deep friends who I love to talk to, I have silly friends who are always putting a smile on my face or making me laugh, I have my loyal friends who we get together as a team and solve complex issues, etc, I could go on and on… lol. To improve your personal, you would be improving your other four aspects possibly too if its pertaining. You can always have new skills. Whoever said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.

In conclusion. All in all each part needs one another. It would be funny/sad if you were just a thumb, one finger, two fingers, or just no appendages at all and just be a fist. What areas are you weak in that you may need to work on? All or one. You have many parts but its only one of you. Everything needs to be in one accord and in unison. Now I will share with you some verses from 1 Corinthians 12:12-26. 12:18-20: “As it is however, God put every different part in the body just as he wanted it to be. There would be not be a body if it were all only one part! As it is, there are many parts but one body.”.. (That body is you and the parts that make you up.) 12:25-26: “And so there is no division in the body, but all its different parts have the same concern for one another. If one part of the body suffers, all the other parts suffer with it; if one part is praised, all the other parts share its happiness.” . So I say unto you be about something, look into yourself, be more of depth, bcoz it will all come to an end and where will you be and what will you do. I love you my friend for reading this, I was just led to write this out of the blue but I know who led me to do it and I just give thanks. I really didn’t know about those verses my hands just turned it there for some reason and my eyes just saw it and it was perfect, and its something I really needed to share.

Aspective Love by Jonathan Bagley

People come in your life for a reason.. one way or another you learn from them… from some people u learn good things related to life, to your life.. and from others you learn good and great things..  I am happy and greatedfull for all i learn from him and still learning.. thank you J.B.

How to do it. How to love. The aspects. The physical, mental, spiritual, and social. Get out of the natural sense of being selfish as a human. Givers and takers. To give. To love. Its easy to love someone physically. Sex, kissing, hugging, massaging, etc. Usually love is looked at by and focused on physical attraction. How to love mentally. Loving mentally, being considerate, thinking about it. Understanding and being aware when it deals with loving. To not be considerate is to ignore and revert back to the selfish nature of being human. Loving socially, being able to get along with another or more. Learning to love and speak it from the mouth. Loving spiritually, is from the heart. Having that energy, that special love energy. Energy, its there. Having that burning desire. A strong spirit.

How not to do it. Abuse of the physical kind. Domestic violence. Mental kind, is the selfish tendencies and not being considerate. Social kind, not listening and/or using abusive language. Spiritual kind, the form of hateful energy. The hateful energy is one of silence, confusion, hostility, aloof, alienation, opposites of unity.

Love of the physical. Placing energy only on this is usually done by the much younger or less mature minded, whom can be any age. When the sex of the physical love is over, so is the love of the relationship. Putting all the eggs in one basket of the aspects is a recipe for disaster.

Love of the mental. Thinking about the wellness of the relationship. Being aware and active of everything that is happening. Being consistent with action. The ABCs of the mind. Whatever the mind concieves, believes, it achieves. This is coupled with the spiritual aspect and usually communicated through the physical and social aspect.

Love of the social. Being able to communicate. Being able to share and being open.

Love of the spiritual. This aspect is the drive. The heart and soul energy. Should be a warm feeling and have the qualities of love. The origin of love is at the heart. How much love burns inside one’s heart.”

Thank you JB
